The purpose of the trip is to study the possibility of planning this area into a multi-functional complex, including: golf course , resort urban area, land for experts, social housing development and space for scientific and technological research.
Vung Chua Mountain covers an area of over 3,000 hectares, mainly planted forests, with no natural forests. Binh Dinh Province plans to exploit only over 300 hectares for development purposes, the rest will remain in its current state to protect the ecology and natural landscape.
Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, requested to start the project of connecting road from Quy Hoa Science and Education Urban Area to Long Van Urban Area this year. After reviewing the project route map, Binh Dinh Provincial Party Secretary Ho Quoc Dung discussed further planning to effectively utilize the land plots on the route for many purposes, with priority given to the science and technology zone.
The Secretary of the Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee requested the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to continue directing departments and branches to develop plans to promote and attract investment in functional subdivisions that will be planned in a systematic and synchronous manner, effectively promoting the potential of the mountainous land of Vung Chua into a space connecting science, nature and modern urban areas.
Planning more than 5,000 hectares for urban area, resort, super yacht marina
Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee has just approved the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan for urban development, resorts, trade services, tourism and the De Gi super yacht marina.
De Gi port area belongs to Phu Cat and Phu My districts (Binh Dinh), where the project is planned.

The urban development space, resort, commercial services, tourism and super yacht marina De Gi has a planning research area of about 5,200 hectares.
Specifically, the north borders the Phu My seaport project and existing residential areas of My Thanh, My Chanh, and My Tho communes (Phu My, Binh Dinh); the south borders provincial road DT633 and existing residential areas of Cat Khanh town; the east borders the East Sea; the west borders provincial road DT.639 and existing residential areas of Cat Minh, My Cat, My Tho, and My Chanh communes (Phu My district).
The land area for the project of urban development, resort, trade, services, tourism and super yacht marina De Gi with an area of 5,200 hectares. This is one of 22 projects approved by the People's Council of Binh Dinh province on the list of land areas for bidding to select investors to implement the project on April 28.
Accordingly, the Department of Finance of Binh Dinh province is the unit assigned to be responsible for organizing the bidding to select investors within 10 months, the implementation period is in 2025 - 2026. The purpose is to invest in the construction of urban areas, resorts, trade services, tourism and marinas in Phu My and Phu Cat districts.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Binh Dinh province was assigned to urgently research and develop a plan to build a new fishing logistics area to replace De Gi fishing port.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, requires investors to implement the project to establish a business headquartered in Binh Dinh province, open an account at a Vietnamese bank and deposit a commitment to implement the project in case it is approved to implement the project.
Regarding the project investor, on March 28, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province presented a memorandum of understanding on investment cooperation to Mr. Tong Duc Hieu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lac Viet Palmer Johnson Super Yacht - Marine Urban Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, this enterprise proposed to implement a high-end resort project combined with a marina in the De Gi - Vung Boi area, with a total expected investment capital of up to 4.6 billion USD.
