Phu Tho: Achieved many outstanding achievements in culture, sports and tourism in the first 6 months of the year

According to report No. 114/BC-SVHTTDL of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho, in the first 6 months of the year, Phu Tho province had many exciting cultural, artistic, sports and tourism activities to serve the spiritual needs of the people.

In the first 6 months of 2025, closely following the direction of the Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Department has proactively and effectively implemented assigned tasks; actively issued directive documents under its authority, effectively implementing state management of culture, sports , tourism and family in the province. Inspection and examination work has been carried out effectively, contributing to minimizing violations of the law in business activities of cultural, sports and tourism services.

In the first 6 months of the year, culture, sports and tourism of Phu Tho province achieved many outstanding results.

Organize well cultural, sports and tourism activities in the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day program and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week in 2025. Many cultural, artistic and sports activities take place enthusiastically to serve the spiritual needs of the people.

Propaganda, guidance and organization of activities to celebrate major national holidays and important events of the province in the first 6 months of 2025 were organized in many diverse, in-depth and highly effective forms; promoting the role of individuals, families, communities and society in building a cultural environment; preserving, reviving and developing the culture of the Ancestral Land, notably: Art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); Staged a dance and water play "King Hung teaches people to plant rice" and practiced the play "Dragon and Fairy Legend" to participate in the National Cheo Theater Festival in 2025; Coordinate with Phu Tho Provincial Radio and Television Station to record and broadcast the short play "Tet Space" and Cheo and folk song performances to celebrate the Party and the Spring of At Ty year 2025.

In the first half of 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism continued to do a good job of preserving and promoting the cultural heritage values ​​of the Ancestral Land, recognized 1 national historical and cultural relic, 01 provincial historical and cultural relic, and completed 2 dossiers to propose inclusion in the List of national intangible cultural heritage.

Mass sports continue to be maintained, the Department has issued instructions for districts, towns and cities to organize sports activities to celebrate the Party, celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025; successfully organize the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people and sports exchanges to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam Sports Day on March 27 and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26; successfully organize the Swimming and Diving training course in 2025, test and issue certificates to 30 students participating in the training course.

Regarding high-performance sports and professional sports, the province's sports sector has successfully organized the 2024 Southeast Asian Football Championship at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho Province; For the first time, the Hung Vuong Cup Volleyball Tournament has had the main sponsor - Lam Thao Superphosphate and Chemical Joint Stock Company accompanying in the period 2025-2030.

Training work has been improved, from the beginning of the year, all sports have called up a total of 220 athletes (41 provincial team athletes, 179 youth team athletes), participating in 10 national sports competitions, winning 35 medals of all kinds including: 07 gold medals, 08 silver medals and 20 bronze medals (reaching 106% compared to the same period and reaching 40% compared to the plan for 2025). Sending 01 athlete to join the national team to compete in the 2025 Southeast Asian Wrestling Championship in Singapore, winning 01 silver medal.

The number of athletes reaching national level in the first 6 months of 2025 is 38 athletes, including 21 Grandmaster athletes and 17 Level I athletes.

Tourism information and promotion work has been effectively implemented, the image of Phu Tho tourist destinations has been clearly promoted, making a good impression on tourists. Tourism promotion, promotion and information activities in recent times have achieved many positive results with a series of impressive programs such as: Presstrip program to survey and evaluate the potential for tourism development in Yen Lap district. - Organizing a Phu Tho tourism survey program to serve the Conference to meet with press agencies and introduce and promote products, services, and tours in the province and deploy the 2025 tourism bridge program in the Conference program.

In addition, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also participated in introducing and promoting Phu Tho Tourism at 05 events: Hoa Ban Festival and the 8th Dien Bien Culture, Sports and Tourism Festival in 2025; Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival; VITM Hanoi International Tourism Fair in 2025; Exhibition of Tourism Space, Cultural Heritage, Famous Places and Traditional Vietnamese Craft Products in Hue City within the framework of the National Tourism Year; Program to display and introduce Tuyen Quang Craft Village Tourism Products in 2025 in Tuyen Quang City.

Along with that, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also implemented the process of reorganizing the apparatus, proactively coordinating to build the Project to merge the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the three provinces of Hoa Binh, Vinh Phuc and Phu Tho according to the direction.

In the last 6 months of the year, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province aims to fulfill its tasks well, including coordinating with the Department of Home Affairs and the Department of Finance to submit to the Provincial People's Council a Resolution regulating the level of material rewards for sectors and fields; Report to the Provincial People's Committee the following documents: Project to organize the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land for the period 2025-2030; Plan for developing physical training and sports in Phu Tho province for the period 9, 2026-2030; Communication plan about Phu Tho province for the period 2026-2030; Plan for developing tourism in Phu Tho province for the period 2025-2030; Regulations on management and provision of information on the Electronic Information Portal of state agencies in Phu Tho province...

Implement the Project to merge the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province, Vinh Phuc province, Hoa Binh province into the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province after approval; Implement the contents of the Project "Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development" and sub-project 1 Reducing information poverty under Project 6 Communication and information poverty reduction under the National Target Program on socio-economic development in the province.
