Dak Lak announces stimulus program to attract tourists in the summer of 2025

On May 28, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province in coordination with the Provincial Tourism Association held a ceremony to announce the stimulus program to attract tourists in the summer of 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Le Thanh Thao, representative of Dak Lak Tourism Association, introduced tourism product packages in the stimulus program to attract tourists during the summer.

With the message "Summer fun exploring the Great Forest - Countless interesting things", the stimulus program takes place from June to December 2025, with many rich and diverse contents such as: organizing community, cultural and ecological experience tours; introducing preferential packages, discounts on accommodation, cuisine and sightseeing services; organizing cultural, sports events, and vibrant street festivals.

Participating in the program, tourist areas, historical sites and scenic spots have developed plans to offer preferential prices for experience services for visitors. For example: Dak Lak Museum will offer free tickets for children under 6 years old, and a 50% discount on tickets for people over 60 years old. The World Coffee Museum offers a 25% discount on tickets for children; 30% for students; 40% for adults; and 50% for adults over 60 years old.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province and branches of the Provincial Tourism Association signed a commitment to preferential stimulus policies.

Some travel agencies have also developed incentive plans, planning to reduce tour prices by 5% (for guests staying or booking tours for 1-2 days), and give 1-2 million VND/total payment for groups of 10 or more after payment.

On the Department's side, to stimulate tourism demand of tourists during the summer, the unit will organize many cultural and tourism activities such as: gong cultural performances to serve people and tourists on Saturday evenings (2nd and last week of every month); Culinary Passport program (June - December 2025); activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Tourism Industry (July 9, 1960 - July 9, 2025); Art program to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; Gong Culture Festival in 2025. At the same time, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize the Vietnam Family Day (June 23 - 28) and the ASEAN Music Festival in August 2025 in the province. In addition, the Department organized 9 national sports competitions during the summer vacation to stimulate tourism, especially MICE tourism.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province Tran Hong Tien said that the stimulus program is a bridge connecting more closely between the government, businesses and the community, creating momentum to stimulate domestic tourism, contributing to economic recovery and development; at the same time, continuing to promote the tourism image of "Dak Lak - a safe, friendly destination, imbued with the identity of the Central Highlands". This is an important event to carry out key tasks and solutions, breakthroughs to promote economic growth and ensure the growth target of Dak Lak province in 2025 reaches 8% or more, creating a new breakthrough in promoting the image and tourism potential of the locality.

In addition, the program to stimulate tourism attraction in the summer of 2025 in the province is an important event of the Dak Lak tourism industry, responding to the tourism stimulus program "Vietnam - go to love" launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Delegates visited some images and artifacts about Dak Lak tourism on the sidelines of the ceremony.

In order for the stimulus program to be effective and achieve the set goals, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province Tran Hong Tien requested that relevant departments, branches, sectors, businesses and units actively participate and closely coordinate in the implementation process. Businesses registering to participate in the stimulus program must strictly implement their commitments on incentives and service quality; ensuring the motto of "reducing prices but not reducing quality", bringing the best experiences to tourists. The cooperation between provinces and cities and the active participation of tourism businesses will contribute to the prosperity and sustainable development of Dak Lak tourism.
