Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong signed Decision No. 1563/QD-BVHTTDL approving the detailed outline of the task of "Organizing the Cultural - Tourism Festival and the Program to introduce tourism, cuisine, Vietnamese craft villages, connecting businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in the European market (Poland, Czech Republic and Germany)".

The event aims to contribute to the effective implementation of Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP dated January 15, 2025 of the Government, attracting international tourists from the markets of the Republic of Poland, the Czech Republic and the Swiss Confederation to Vietnam; Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP dated February 5, 2025 of the Government on the growth target of industries, sectors and localities to ensure the national growth target in 2025 reaches 8% or more, completing the target: international tourists reach 22-23 million visitors; domestic tourists reach 120-130 million visitors.

Organizing the Cultural - Tourism Festival and the Program to introduce tourism, cuisine , Vietnamese craft villages, connecting businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in the European market (Poland, Czech Republic and Germany)

In addition, the event also aims to practically contribute to the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025 according to Decision No. 444/QD-BVHTTDL dated February 28, 2025 of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Official Dispatch No. 34/CD-TTg dated April 10, 2025 of the Prime Minister on promoting tourism development, ensuring double-digit economic growth; enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism in the international market through preferential policies, convenient entry procedures and unique tourism experience values.

The series of events will promote the culture, country and people of Vietnam, especially the cultural heritage, natural heritage, intangible cultural heritage, documentary heritage recognized by UNESCO, while promoting cultural and artistic exchanges between Vietnam and European countries. Through cultural and artistic exchanges, the event will create opportunities for people of European countries to explore and appreciate each other's cultures.

Introduce the beauty of Vietnamese culture through traditional art performances, introduce cuisine, introduce National Tourism Year - Hue 2025. Especially promote the introduction of OCOP products, contributing to the development of craft village tourism, rural tourism. Maintain, strengthen the image, position the Vietnamese tourism brand as safe, friendly, attractive, capable of meeting new requirements of the market and of high-end market segments including the European market.

The event will also be an opportunity to organize meetings, connections, negotiations, cooperation promotion, and contract signing to promote two-way tourism between Vietnam and Europe as well as restore/open new direct flights, helping to increase European visitors' access to key tourist destinations in Vietnam; Grasp market trends and needs in the new context and difficulties and obstacles in bringing European visitors to Vietnam.

Continue to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese tourism in the region: In the context that Southeast Asian and East Asian countries are stepping up promotion to attract European tourists, Vietnam needs to step up promotional activities to consolidate its position as an attractive and competitive destination in the region.

“Organizing the Cultural - Tourism Festival and the Program to introduce tourism, cuisine, Vietnamese craft villages, connecting businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in the European market (Poland, Czech Republic and Germany) will have the following main contents: Organizing the Cultural - Tourism Festival in Poland (June 22, 20205); Business meeting program (B2B) in the Czech Republic and Germany (In the Czech Republic on June 27, 2025; In Germany on June 30, 2025); Program to introduce Vietnamese tourism in the Czech Republic and Germany (Immediately after the end of the B2B business meeting); Traditional art performance program in the Czech Republic and Germany; Program to introduce Vietnamese cuisine in the Czech Republic and Germany; Program to support the introduction of craft village tourism products, rural tourism associated with OCOP products in the Czech Republic and Germany; Photo exhibition introducing the country, people, culture and tourism of Vietnam in Poland and the Czech Republic; Meeting, working with partners in Poland, Czech Republic and Germany (tourism promotion agencies, airlines, major tourism businesses, associations...).

The decision assigns the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism to preside over and coordinate with the Department of International Cooperation; the Tourism Development Support Fund and relevant units to carry out the tasks, promote communication, and ensure progress according to the set plan.
