Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong signed Decision No. 1567/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing a training course to improve awareness and professional knowledge on heritage impact assessment: Experience and practice from activities to protect and promote the value of historical - cultural relics and scenic spots in Vietnam.

The training course to improve awareness and professional knowledge on heritage impact assessment: Experience and practice from activities to protect and promote the value of historical - cultural relics and scenic spots in Vietnam is organized to improve the quality of human resources for staff in the industry on professional knowledge and skills on heritage impact assessment: Experience and practice from activities to protect and promote the value of historical - cultural relics and scenic spots in Vietnam.

About 150 people will attend training courses to improve awareness and professional knowledge on heritage impact assessment. Illustrative photo

Through the training sessions, the staff will share experiences in the management, protection and promotion of the value of historical - cultural relics and scenic spots in Vietnam, creating conditions for civil servants and public employees directly working in the management of historical - cultural relics and scenic spots at the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism/Departments of Culture and Sports, the Management Boards of relics and museums as well as local cultural heritage management staff to exchange experiences, strengthen coordination and close connection in professional and technical work.

The course is expected to be held for 3 days in the second or third quarter of 2025 in Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province with an expected number of about 150 people including representatives of the UNESCO Office in Hanoi. - Representatives of museums, relics, research institutes under the Ministry; Department of Cultural Heritage/Department of Cultural Management, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism , Department of Culture and Sports of provinces and centrally run cities; Museums, Monument Management Boards/Centers nationwide; Representatives of relevant organizations and units...

The Decision also assigns the Department of Cultural Heritage to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to organize and ensure the close connection between theory and practice in the management, preservation and promotion of the value of historical - cultural relics and scenic spots in Vietnam; Effective, purposeful, economical and ensuring compliance with regulations on state budget expenditures.
