Gasoline prices increase for the 11th time this year

(GLO)- On the afternoon of May 29, under the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, gasoline prices increased slightly by 30-90 VND/liter. On the contrary, oil prices turned to decrease.

Specifically, the price of RON 95-III gasoline increased by 30 VND, to 19,560 VND/liter. E5 RON 92 also increased by 70 VND, to 19,190 VND/liter.

Regarding oil products, diesel oil decreased the most with 270 VND/liter, followed by fuel oil with 250 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 210 VND/liter. The 3 types of oil have the following prices after reduction: 17,130 VND/liter, 17,100 VND/liter and 16,260 VND/liter.

In the last week's adjustment period (May 22), gasoline prices of all types decreased slightly by 58-62 VND/liter, while oil products increased by 88-352 VND/liter.

According to Dan Tri, currently, the price of RON 95-III gasoline is still at its lowest level in the past 4 years, equivalent to May 2021. Since the beginning of the year, RON 95-III gasoline has increased 11 times and decreased 11 times. Diesel has increased 10 times, decreased 11 times and remained unchanged once.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade , since implementing the reduction of gasoline prices to every 7 days, the price fluctuation between two basic adjustments has not been large, and domestic gasoline prices have basically followed the world price movements.
