On the morning of May 28, at the Presidential Palace, President Luong Cuong and his wife hosted the official welcoming ceremony for Hungarian President Sulyok Tamas and his wife on an official visit to Vietnam.

This is the first visit to Vietnam in 11 years by a Hungarian head of state, taking place at a time when the two countries celebrate the 75th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.

Based on the good relations over the past 75 years, the official visit to Vietnam by Hungarian President Sulyok Tamas and his wife this time demonstrates the respect, role and prestige of Vietnam in the region and internationally and the desire of the two countries to promote the Vietnam - Hungary Comprehensive Partnership.

Through the visit, the relationship between the two countries will deepen further in the traditional relationship; at the same time, promote new areas of cooperation such as renewable energy, nuclear energy, labor, information and communication technology, digital transformation, green transformation, etc.

After the welcoming ceremony, President Luong Cuong and President Sulyok Tamas held talks, assessed the results of cooperation between the two countries in recent times and proposed directions for cooperation in the future.
