The section through Do Son district has only been half paved with asphalt. According to the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, because the road is under construction, vehicles are not allowed to pass through, except for official vehicles and vehicles serving the project.
The road has no traffic lights, no lane markings, no lane separation and no traffic signs. However, many people still drive cars and motorbikes across this road at high speed.
