On May 8, thousands of people from many provinces and cities came to Ba Den Mountain (Tay Ninh) to worship the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni.

From noon on May 8th, many people gathered at Ba Den Mountain ( Tay Ninh province) to witness the procession of relics of Buddha Shakyamuni from Thanh Tam Pagoda (Ho Chi Minh City) to this location.

This event attracted thousands of people from many provinces and cities across the country to Tay Ninh province to venerate the relics of the Buddha. According to representatives of the Ba Den Mountain Tourist Area, on May 8 alone, more than 10,000 people went up the mountain to attend the grand ceremony.

In the early afternoon, the Buddha's relics were enshrined at the Buddhist Exhibition Center on Ba Den Mountain.

Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Acting Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province, shared: "The veneration of the Buddha's relics from India - a treasure of all humanity - during the 2025 Vesak celebration not only provides an opportunity for the people of Tay Ninh province to receive blessings from the cradle of world Buddhism, but for Tay Ninh province, this is a cultural diplomatic event of great significance, contributing to spreading the message of solidarity among nations."
