According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the morning of October 22, cold air affected some places in the Central Central region and continued to expand its scope during the day and night. In the Northern Delta region, the Northeast wind was strong at level 3, and in coastal areas at level 4-5.

In Hanoi , the weather is sunny during the day but the nights and early mornings turn cold, with the lowest temperatures generally ranging from 19 to 22 degrees Celsius. It is forecasted that the early morning of October 23 will be the coldest time of this period, with the temperature feeling only around 18 to 19 degrees Celsius. Meteorological experts recommend that people should wear warm clothes when going out in the early morning or late evening, especially keeping the neck and respiratory tract warm to avoid catching a cold.

In the coming days, Hanoi will still have sunshine but the highest temperature during the day will only be around 25 degrees Celsius. The cool weather, light sunshine and cold wind make the capital seem to put on a gentle, quiet appearance - signaling that winter is very near.
