Former chief accountant of AIC Company returned to Vietnam to surrender

Providing information at the regular Government press conference held on the afternoon of July 4, Lieutenant General To An Xo, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, said that former chief accountant of the International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC), Do Van Son, had just returned to Vietnam to surrender.

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security To An Xo shared that through international cooperation in crime prevention and control, the Ministry of Public Security's investigation agency (C03) recently received Do Van Son, born in 1977, former Chief Accountant of International Progress Joint Stock Company (AIC) - a wanted subject in the AIC case - to surrender.

The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has conducted legal proceedings against Do Van Son and is actively investigating the subject to clarify some details in the case.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security emphasized that through this incident, the Ministry of Public Security calls on the subjects involved in the AIC case who are currently on the run to surrender soon to be considered for leniency, as well as to escape the life of hiding, fear and constant insecurity.
