Pig price today August 7, 2025: The South continues to accelerate, the North and Central regions are running out of steam

On August 7, the price of live pigs fluctuated unexpectedly across the country, with the price in Vinh Long increasing in the South, while the price in the North and the Central Highlands decreased slightly in some provinces. Tay Ninh led the country with a price of 65,000 VND/kg, while Gia Lai had the lowest price at 57,000 VND/kg.

The Northern market today is quite stable, only recording a decrease of 1,000 VND/kg in live pig price in Ninh Binh , down to 63,000 VND/kg. The remaining provinces keep prices unchanged.

Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi , Hai Phong, Hung Yen still hold the regional peak at 64,000 VND/kg.

Cao Bang, Lang Son, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La keep the lowest price in the region, at 62,000 VND/kg.

Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho have purchase price at 63,000 VND/kg.

Northern prices ranged from 62,000 to 64,000 VND/kg, showing stability but lacking growth momentum.

In the Central Highlands, the price of live pigs continued to decrease slightly, in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces, both down to 61,000 VND/kg (down 1,000 VND/kg). The remaining provinces did not have major fluctuations.

Lam Dong still leads the region with 63,000 VND/kg.

Dak Lak and Khanh Hoa both maintain at 60,000 VND/kg.

Quang Tri, Hue, Da Nang, Quang Ngai anchored at a low level of 58,000 VND/kg.

Gia Lai has the lowest price in the country at 57,000 VND/kg.

Prices in this area range from VND57,000 to VND63,000/kg, reflecting a slowing trend.
