Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater premieres the play 'Forever with the mountains and rivers'

Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theater (Da Nang City) said that the play Con mai voi non song, which was just released, was warmly received by audiences in the localities where the troupe toured.

According to Mr. Ngo Van Bay, Director of the theater, this is a work that is elaborately staged, rich in emotion, expressing patriotism and national pride. The content of the play recreates the historical context of the early years of King Tran Thai Tong's reign when the Tran Dynasty succeeded the Ly Dynasty. Thereby emphasizing the important role of Grand Tutor Tran Thu Do, who led the Tran Dynasty to replace the Ly Dynasty "without using swords" and wholeheartedly supported the Tran Dynasty.

Mr. Ngo Van Bay said that in order to have a quality play to participate in the 2025 National Tuong and Folk Opera Festival (scheduled to be held in August this year), the theater has selected and invited artists with extensive expertise and experience. The creative team includes: scriptwriter Nguyen Sy Chuc, director - People's Artist Giang Manh Ha, choreographer Do Thi Kim Tien, musician - Meritorious Artist Nguyen Thanh Nam, painter - Meritorious Artist Nguyen Hoang Phong... Initially, the play was called Phu Van , after re-studying, the director decided to change the name to Con mai voi non song .

"This is not only an opportunity for the Tuong theater to introduce new artistic products, but also an opportunity to once again affirm the position of the unit. We believe that with the dedicated training of the actors, artists and creative team, the play will leave a good impression on the audience," said Director Ngo Van Bay.
