On July 28, Avatr Technology - a Chinese automobile manufacturing company, in cooperation with leading technology partners such as Changan Automobile, Huawei, China Unicom, officially opened a new generation of automobile manufacturing factory, designed entirely according to the smart factory model. This event marks an important step forward in the flexible, automated and deeply connected manufacturing strategy that the company is pursuing.

According to AutoHome, the factory is built with extremely flexible production capacity, allowing the integration of many modern digital systems. From the order receiving stage, assembly, inspection to the finished vehicle leaving the line, every stage is connected through a unified data platform, supporting real-time information transmission and processing.
Avatr said the factory applies core technologies such as high-speed 5G networks, artificial intelligence, automation and data tracking systems throughout the entire production process. Each component and part is assigned an identification code and continuously monitored, providing full traceability from raw material input to finished vehicle output.
In particular, the production line here has achieved an extremely high level of automation, allowing a car to be completed in just 60 seconds - an impressive figure in the automotive industry. The line also supports the simultaneous production of many car lines with different configurations and powertrains, helping Avatr flexibly meet the increasing personalization needs of customers. According to the announcement, the factory can handle more than 1,200 different order variations without changing the line.

Thanks to this, even the smallest errors in the assembly process can be detected and handled on the spot, improving the accuracy and reliability of the output products.
In addition to operating the factory, Avatr also announced plans to expand its product portfolio in the coming time. Notably, the high-end SUV model developed in cooperation with Huawei, expected to launch this year. This will be the first product in a global expansion strategy, aiming for 17 new models from now until 2030, including sedans, SUVs, MPVs and sports cars.
In terms of business results, Avatr said it sold 73,000 vehicles in 2024, more than double its sales for the whole of 2023. In the first 6 months of 2025, the company continued to maintain strong growth momentum with monthly sales exceeding 10,000 vehicles for 4 consecutive months, a remarkable achievement for a young brand.
In addition to expanding its domestic market share, Avatr has officially launched its internationalization strategy since 2024. To date, the company has entered 25 countries and territories, including key markets in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Avatr models have been introduced in Thailand and Dubai, with prices ranging from about $69,800–$97,700.
Recently, in July 2025, the company signed strategic distribution agreements with partners in Jordan and Egypt, and launched the Avatr 11 electric car model in the Singapore market. These moves show that Avatr is significantly accelerating its ambition to become a global electric car brand.
