“Red Rain” producer warns of film copyright infringement

People's Army Cinema, the producer of Vietnam's highest-grossing film ever, has just announced that the film's copyright has been violated on many websites, online platforms and personal accounts.

In the announcement, the People's Army Cinema stated that recently, the People's Army Cinema has discovered a number of websites, online platforms and personal accounts arbitrarily posting, broadcasting or showing the feature film "Red Rain" without the written consent of the People's Army Cinema/General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.

People's Army Cinema affirms that any act of copying, releasing, showing, excerpting, cutting or using images and sounds of the feature film "Red Rain" without permission is a violation of copyright and intellectual property laws.

These actions not only infringe upon the legitimate ownership rights of the Ministry of National Defense , but also negatively affect the political and artistic values ​​and humanistic messages of the work; at the same time, damage the efforts and dedication of the collective of artists, soldiers and creative crew who have devoted themselves to the film.

People's Army Cinema requests that audiences and the cinema-loving community not watch, share, or spread illegally posted versions of the film "Red Rain."

The producer of the film "Red Rain" also hopes that the audience will join hands to protect intellectual property rights, respect creative values ​​and preserve the good image of People's Army Cinema.
