Recently, a clip has been circulating on social media of three students riding a motorbike, without helmets, wearing military uniforms, behaving inappropriately when the A80 convoy (a convoy carrying soldiers participating in the parade on the occasion of National Day, September 2) passed by. The incident took place in the Cau Sat area, Xuan Mai commune (Hanoi).
Many people were upset when watching this clip, thinking that this was an offensive act, causing negative effects on public opinion, and needed to be dealt with.

Speaking to VietNamNet , Mr. Le Khanh Toan, Principal of Lam Nghiep High School (Xuan Mai, Hanoi ), said that as soon as the information was received, the school conducted verification. The students in the above clip are 10th grade students of the school.
The students had just arrived at school a few days ago and were participating in the national defense education week. According to the principal, the school has asked the homeroom teacher to contact the parents and invite them and the students to the school this morning (August 17).
“At the meeting, the students reported the incident. They also realized that their actions were wrong and repented for not foreseeing the consequences at a time of great historical importance for the nation. They wanted a chance to make amends and pledged not to repeat the offense,” said the school principal.
Mr. Toan said that the Board of Directors of Lam Nghiep High School will establish a disciplinary council to evaluate the students' violations and have appropriate handling directions, "both ensuring deterrence and education, and doing ideological work for students".
Regarding the incident, recently, Xuan Mai Commune Police also verified and requested the students involved to come to work. For traffic violations, the police agency has prepared a record to handle the warning and notify the school, and temporarily impound the vehicle.
