Replicating "Train Road - Flower Road" along Binh Dinh and Phu Yen railways

On April 27, Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company announced that it had coordinated with Tuy Hoa City People's Committee to organize a tree planting campaign along the railway to celebrate April 30 and May 1, responding to the "Train Road - Flower Road" movement of Vietnam Railway Corporation and the project to plant 2 million trees in Tuy Hoa City in the period of 2021-2025.

Accordingly, nearly 200 flower trees of various types: bougainvillea, red and yellow flowers... were planted and cared for by functional units on the railway section from Km 1197+980 to Km 1198+060 through Ward 1 (Tuy Hoa City). These are mainly types of trees suitable for the soil and have good drought resistance.

Each flower was carefully planted and quickly created a colorful space, changing the appearance of the railway section compared to before. Mr. Pham Nguyen Chien, Director of Phu Khanh Railway Joint Stock Company, said that the pioneering unit implementing the model "Train - Flower Road", not only contributes to preserving and protecting the ecological environment, creating a green, clean and beautiful landscape; contributes to building a healthy living environment in residential areas; helps to gradually eliminate social evils.

At the same time, planting trees and flowers along the railway lines, with typical flowers of each region, also contributes to creating regional identification highlights according to the types of flowers planted; creating a more friendly image of the railway and the locality in the eyes of domestic and international tourists .

In addition to Tuy Hoa, recently, the railway industry has expanded the flower planting movement at stations, on both sides of the railway and at work sites on railway lines, spanning across 3 provinces: Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa . Not only the railway, people on both sides of the railway also participate in planting flowers, beautifying the landscape and environment.

According to Mr. Nguyen Cong Thanh, Vice Chairman of Tuy Hoa City People's Committee, Tuy Hoa is oriented to be one of the cleanest cities in the country. In particular, upgrading and expanding the landscape tree system is one of the particularly important tasks. The city maintains the effective operation of the Tree Development Fund, continues to call on organizations and individuals to join hands to support resources to complete and exceed the target of planting 2 million trees in the city by 2025.
