Talking to Tien Phong reporter , Mr. Tran Kien - Head of Project Supervision and Operation Department of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Ha Tinh Economic Zone (project investor) said that the entire route is over 18.4 km long. It is divided into 2 routes: The main route connecting National Highway 1, avoiding Ky Anh town to Son Duong port and the cross-road connecting National Highway 12C to Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Complex. The total investment for the 2 routes is over 2,000 billion VND. |

"Up to now, the project progress has reached more than 45%. Currently, the site still has some problems in the non-agricultural land with the main axis of the site still having more than 13% problems related to 324 households and 3 organizations. The investor is coordinating with the locality and related sectors to soon have the site for project construction," the investor representative informed. |

“Leaving our long-time home is difficult, but we always agree with the development of local infrastructure and economy. However, people hope that the locality will reconsider the compensation price to ensure benefits for the people. The resettlement area is not yet completed, but telling people to build houses or support money for lodging to hand over the land is not appropriate,” said Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh (resident of Canh Truong residential area). |

The construction of the roads is mostly in low-lying areas with weak ground, so it is necessary to fill in the soil to increase load, wait for subsidence, and treat the ground. However, the slow clearance of the land has greatly affected the project progress, the contractor has to temporarily stop the construction or "skip the construction". |

According to the representative of the Management Board of Investment and Construction of the Economic Zone of Ha Tinh province, this road is currently stuck with 3,700m2 of agricultural land of 23 households that cannot be cleared because the people have not agreed to receive the money. The part with the land has been completed, the part without the land has to wait. |

"Up to now, the two projects have not been completed as planned, due to the delay in handing over the site, although the local authorities and investors have taken drastic measures. This is a key project, with connectivity, traffic sharing, and creating conditions to attract investment, so the units will focus on finding the most suitable solution," said a representative of the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of the Ha Tinh Economic Zone. |
