In addition to studying and reviewing to prepare for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam, schools and teachers in Ha Tinh also strengthen counseling and career guidance for students in many forms.

At this time, 12th grade students of Huong Khe High School are both focusing on reviewing for the 2023 High School Graduation Exam and making analysis and choices for future career orientation.

Mr. Ho Duc Cuong - Principal of Huong Khe High School said: “From the beginning of the school year, the school has planned to provide career counseling and guidance for students, helping them make suitable choices for themselves. This is also the first school year that the school has held a 4-party meeting between students, parents, teachers and the school board to answer questions about career choices for 12th grade students. Each meeting, we only hold in 1 class to ensure full participation of all members. Up to now, 12/15 12th grade classes have held this meeting. Next week, we will implement it in the remaining classes.”

In the lessons, teachers at Huong Khe High School will integrate career guidance content to help students better understand their own abilities and orient their future.

In addition, once a month, at the flag-raising ceremony, Huong Khe High School spends time talking about career guidance for students. During the counseling sessions, the school helps students answer many questions about which industries and professions are “hot”, whether to study a trade or go to university, why many graduates are unemployed, etc.

It is known that this year, Huong Khe High School has 572 12th grade students, up to now, more than 70% of students have registered to take the university entrance exam. Good implementation of career guidance has helped the school to stream students, helping them make reasonable choices according to their abilities and aspirations.

Since the beginning of the school year, Cam Xuyen High School has organized many career counseling sessions for grade 12 students in a centralized form and integrated into lessons and class activities.

Therefore, not only in grade 12 but also from grade 10, we have organized talks and meetings to grasp the psychology of students, thereby providing appropriate orientations for them. In the 2022 - 2023 school year, the school organized 10 focused career guidance sessions for students in the whole school”.

Regularly held face-to-face meetings, discussions, and career orientation seminars have contributed to career orientation for students at Cam Xuyen High School. Students have the opportunity to meet and talk directly with successful alumni, thereby providing them with a clearer picture of their career choices, their efforts, and the sharing of practical experiences from previous generations of students.

At career guidance sessions, students of Cam Xuyen High School had their questions about majors and careers answered.

Tran Thi Ngoc Anh - a student of class 12A6 (Cam Xuyen High School) shared: "Through career guidance sessions as well as advice from teachers, I can visualize more clearly the career I will pursue after graduating from high school. Advice on how to choose subjects and majors is also very useful, because teachers are the ones who know the academic ability, strengths and weaknesses of each person in the class."

In addition to focused career counseling sessions, in classes, class meetings, and flag talks, schools have also provided necessary career content for students.

At the same time, integrating career guidance and employment issues into activities, flag salutes, extracurricular activities... Creating conditions for colleges, universities, and licensed job placement centers to directly advise students."

Dong Loc High School also guides teachers to organize career guidance activities for students in teaching and class activities.
