Speaking at the Conference, Deputy Director of the City Department of Information and Communications Tran Ngoc Thach said that in 2023, there were 04 agencies ranked Excellent among departments, branches and sectors. Leading the way was the Department of Information and Communications with 96.53 points. The following departments were ranked in the following positions: Tourism, Transport, Science and Technology.
Along with that, some agencies have made many efforts in applying IT, digital transformation, improving scores and rankings such as: Department of Construction; Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs...
In the Central agency block, there are two units ranked excellent: City Police (90.93 points), Customs Department (90.62 points); District/County People's Committee block, led by Thanh Khe District People's Committee with 89.02 points, ranked good.
Recently, the agencies have issued a list of specialized databases; deployed the provision of open data on the City Data Portal, contributing to bringing the total number of open data sets provided to date to nearly 1,200, completing ahead of schedule and exceeding the target according to Resolution No. 05-NQ/TU and the City Digital Transformation Project.
Data sharing among agencies is given more attention, especially data sharing to the Da Nang Intelligent Operations Monitoring Center (IOC Center).
Some agencies have implemented good models and practices in digital transformation such as: "One touch to Da Nang" system, metaverse application to support tourists of the Department of Tourism ; Piloting real-time traffic light control solution at Nui Thanh - Phan Dang Luu intersection, model of implementing online public services for the entire process of issuing and renewing online driving licenses of the Department of Transport.
Along with that is the model of receiving requests for issuance of Judicial Records at Post Offices and Cultural Post Offices of communes, Public Service Agents of the Department of Justice; Model of non-cash payment of social security benefits of the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Model of exhibition space on planning information of Da Nang city of the Department of Construction...
Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong acknowledged and commended the agencies and units that have made many efforts and strongly improved the results of digital transformation; at the same time, there are many good models, experiences and practices.
The efforts and results of digital transformation implementation by agencies and localities have helped the City continue to be honored to receive awards in early 2024: for the 5th consecutive year, it won the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award organized by the Vietnam Digital Communications Association; for the 3rd consecutive year, it was certified by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations as a typical State agency implementing Resolution 52 of the Politburo and the National Digital Transformation Program.
Recently, the National Committee on Digital Transformation recognized and evaluated Da Nang city as having many good and effective models, solutions and practices; especially public services and selected it as a pilot model to summarize and replicate nationwide.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee suggested that departments, branches and localities link digital transformation with specific plans and tasks: reforming administrative procedures in implementing online public services; applying information technology; implementing tasks of the Smart City Project...
The Department of Information and Communications coordinates with sectors and localities to review and evaluate the city's transmission, storage, computing infrastructure, applications, and shared databases; promptly advise and propose to the City People's Committee to upgrade, supplement, and expand to meet the city's digital transformation requirements and the usage needs of agencies and localities.
On this occasion, 13 agencies and localities with outstanding achievements in digital transformation in 2023 received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
