Benefits of combining raisins and milk
Dr. Deepika Krishna, health coach, General Director of Immunosciences Supplements Health Care Center (India) - said: raisins soaked in milk can help increase sperm count, improving male fertility.
Dr Deepika Krishna also emphasized that raisins are rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals like zinc and selenium, which are essential for sperm production and motility.
Meanwhile, milk provides protein and calcium, supporting overall health and hormone balance. Combining raisins and milk can enhance nutrient absorption and improve blood circulation, contributing to improved reproductive health.
According to Simrat Kathuria, nutritionist and founder of The Diet Xperts Nutrition Center (India), to incorporate these two foods into your diet, soak a handful of raisins in a cup of warm milk overnight.
Then consume them in the morning on an empty stomach. Make them a part of your regular diet, 2-3 times a week.
"It takes a few months to fully appreciate the potential benefits of this food blend," notes Simrat Kathuria.
Are raisins soaked in milk safe for all men?
According to nutritionists, people who are lactose intolerant or allergic to milk should avoid this dish or choose lactose-free milk alternatives.
Because, consuming too many raisins can lead to digestive problems like bloating or diarrhea due to the high fiber content.
People with diabetes should also be cautious, as raisins are high in natural sugar and can affect blood sugar levels.
However, Ms Simrat Kathuria asserts that while this combination may be a natural, healthy way to support male fertility as part of a balanced diet, it cannot replace professional medical advice and treatment.
