On July 22, Dong Thai Commune Police (An Giang Province) said they had coordinated with Dong Hoa Commune Police and the Office of the Provincial Police Investigation Agency to arrest wanted suspect Tran Minh Khoi (born in 2006, residing in Rach Soi Ward, Rach Gia City, former Kien Giang Province - now Rach Gia Ward, An Giang Province).

Previously, after committing an act of disturbing public order, Khoi fled the locality. On June 26, 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of Kien Giang Province Police issued a wanted notice for this subject.

During his time in hiding, Khoi constantly changed his residence to avoid detection by the authorities. Through the work of checking the area after the administrative unit merger, Dong Thai Commune Police discovered a suspicious young man with identifying characteristics similar to the wanted subject.

Immediately after that, the commune police force urgently coordinated to verify and identify this subject as Tran Minh Khoi and proceeded to arrest him. The subject was controlled while moving to the area of ​​​​Bay Cho hamlet, Dong Thai commune, An Giang province. At the police station, Tran Minh Khoi confessed all of his illegal acts and the process of hiding.

Dong Thai Commune Police have handed over the subject to the Office of the Police Investigation Agency for handling according to the provisions of law.
