While following every step of the training officers, students and police officers, we heard special stories.

Father passed away after 3 weeks of training, two brothers suppressed their grief to carry out their mission
In the UN's male peacekeeping officer block, there are two brothers, Tran Truong Giang and Tran The Bao, both students of the Technical Reconnaissance Faculty of the University of Engineering and Logistics of the People's Public Security. Originally from Vinh Linh, Quang Tri , Giang and Bao are 3 years apart in age (2003 and 2006) but studied two courses apart because the older brother entered a year late. Both of them participated in a national parade for the first time.

"I had only been in school for two months when I was selected to participate in the parade training. I was proud that we were both in the same ranks, but with pride comes greater responsibility, so we had to encourage each other and try our best," said Tran The Bao. Notably, he was also the valedictorian of the A00 block of the school.
When asked about a memorable moment while participating in the parade, Bao's voice dropped. The two brothers had been training for 3 weeks when their father passed away. "It was around 12 noon on Sunday, May 25, 2025, the weekend so we were allowed to use the phone. The men in the village texted to say that our father had passed away! My brother and I immediately went to the room to talk to each other and then reported to the manager to ask for leave to attend the funeral..." Due to the urgent task of training for the parade, the teachers did not attend the ceremony in person but cared for and encouraged the two brothers and sent thoughtful condolences.
Giang and Bao immediately went to the bus station to catch a bus home. They arrived at 5am the next morning, May 26, and the whole family was preparing to hold a funeral for their father. "My father sells acacia trees, my mother works in the fields. My father's health has been declining for about a year now, but I didn't expect him to pass away so suddenly. I just feel sorry for my mother being home alone, it's even more empty...", Tran Truong Giang shared. However, the mother of the two brothers is a strong woman, often encouraging her two children to suppress their grief, not to be weak, to try to overcome difficulties, and to practice hard.

"During the 50th day after my father passed away, my mother told me not to come back, asking for leave would be troublesome and would affect our training progress, my mother, uncles and aunts would take care of everything at home. We were also in the final stage of training, we were in the same block, the upper and lower rows, so we had to light incense for our father from afar. September 2nd is exactly 100 days since my father passed away, but we will try to complete our tasks well and then come back to tell our father...", Bao said, determination clearly visible on his strong, tanned face.
The story of "I fall, you lift me up" of twin students
On the parade training ground of the People's Public Security Forces, we were also impressed with two twin brothers: Tran Kien Trung and Tran Trung Kien (born in 2005), students of the People's Police College I. If he is a student of the Criminal Engineering Department, he is a student of the Police Reconnaissance Department, from Van Phu Ward, Lao Cai Province. "The first time I experienced the A80, I was very eager to participate, wishing to parade once to know the feeling of serving a national mission," Trung said.

The two brothers look exactly alike, so during the training process, teachers, soldiers, and students often get confused. The way people can tell them apart is that the younger brother stands at number 7, row 3; and the older brother stands at number 8, row 4. But it is also because of the arrangement that the older brother stands behind the younger brother that the two brothers can support each other very well.

"Entering the basic training phase, practicing with high intensity, that day, when I had just recovered from my illness, the teacher taught me a new movement, including the leg lift movement, which each student had to perform for 3 minutes. When I reached 1 minute and 30 seconds, I felt dizzy, pale, and then fell. Luckily, Trung standing behind me quickly supported me and encouraged me: "Kien, keep trying, our parents at home are waiting for us!". Hearing this from my brother, I was determined and ready to try to lift for 3 minutes. In the following training phases, his words were always the motivation for me to practice better and better, so that the moment I passed Ba Dinh Square would be beautiful", male student Tran Trung Kien recalled.
Free haircut day and hair donation for cancer patients
Over 2 months of eating, staying, and practicing at the A80 parade training ground, the officers, students, and soldiers had many emotional moments together. The free, voluntary haircut was an example. The program was chaired by the Youth Union of the Mobile Police Command, in coordination with the A80 Parade Command, and two accompanying units, 1900 Hair Salon and Tim Barbershop Hanoi, organized for 12 weeks, from 6am to 7pm on Sundays (from June 8, 2025 to August 24, 2025), with the desire to create a neat appearance, serious demeanor, and uniformity to demonstrate the regularity of the People's Public Security force.

Mr. Nguyen Van Chien, CEO of 1900 Hair Salon, said he was honored and proud to work in a special space, serving special guests who were soldiers and students participating in the parade and marching in the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2. With the spirit of volunteerism, responsibility and patriotism, the barbers all wanted to contribute a small part to the country's important event with their own skills. Every Sunday, they regularly sent 50 skilled, certified barbers to Hanoi National University (Thach That, Hanoi) to cut hair for officers, students and soldiers. For the female group, there were experts to advise, trim and style hair as requested, and at the same time, they were informed about the program "Donate hair, donate to cancer patients".

Present at the haircutting session on the afternoon of July 27, student Tran Phan Thu Huong of the People's Police College I (born in 2005), a member of the Special Police Female Soldiers, registered to donate 25cm of hair. In 11th grade, she donated 40cm of hair to cancer patients, so when this campaign was launched, she volunteered to register. "I'm very happy to be able to do something meaningful and have my hair cut and styled to suit my face," Huong said. This action also contributes to spreading the beautiful image of the People's Police soldier throughout society...

Lieutenant Colonel Pham Dai Dong, Permanent Deputy Commander of the A80 Parade Command, Deputy Head of the Training Department, Mobile Police Command, said that the sincere support and companionship of the two units not only demonstrated patriotism and responsibility to the community, but also clearly demonstrated the spirit of solidarity and unity between the army and the people, thereby contributing to encouraging, motivating and adding more motivation for officers, soldiers and students of the People's Public Security Forces to successfully complete the A80 mission.
