Da Nang urgently builds embankment to prevent landslides on Hoi An beach before the storm makes landfall.

On October 22, the Da Nang City Border Guard Command informed that it had just mobilized officers and soldiers to temporarily reinforce the embankment to block the landslide area in the coastal area of ​​Hoi An Tay ward.

Accordingly, due to the effects of bad weather, strong waves and winds continue to cause widespread landslides in the coastal area of ​​Tan Thanh block (Hoi An Tay ward). The landslide area is more than 100m long, and the landslide is about 28m deep inland.

Therefore, the Cua Dai Border Guard Station stationed in the area has sent 25 officers and soldiers along with local forces to repair and temporarily reinforce the embankment to block the landslide area. After storm No. 12 passes, the area will continue to be repaired to ensure people's safety.

According to the Da Nang City Border Guard Command, the unit continues to monitor and coordinate with local authorities and functional forces to be ready to implement further measures.
