According to CNA, although he has only been a barber for about 3 years, Cam Do's amazing scissor cuts have created transformations that leave everyone who witnesses them in awe.
Cam Do said that after moving from Vietnam to Hawaii, USA at the age of 15, he worked many jobs from waiting tables, selling at flea markets, working as a staff at a nursing home and driving Uber. And that the idea of becoming a barber never crossed Cam Do's mind until it happened unexpectedly. "It was like fate pushed me in a completely unexpected direction."
According to Cam Do, his journey into the beauty industry began as a manicurist, but it didn't last long. While learning the ropes of the trade on YouTube, Cam Do happened to see a video in which a barber gave a homeless man a free haircut, transforming him from a ragged character into a wealthy one, if only in appearance. "That moment stuck in my mind and that's when I knew I wanted to be a barber."
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Cam Do switched to barbering after receiving her barbering license and diploma in 2020.
