Two former national team players – Coach Nguyen Viet Thang and Le Phuoc Tu – will attend a Pro Coaching Certificate course in Japan from June 29 to July 21. Participating in this training program means that both of them will not be able to directly accompany the team during the first training session of the season. During this time, assistant coach Truong Dinh Luat will take on the role of interim coach. With extensive experience on the field and understanding of domestic football, Truong Dinh Luat is expected to maintain the spirit and stability of the whole team during this crucial period.
At the same time, the Club's Board of Directors is also actively searching for quality foreign experts, along with suitable foreign and domestic players to complete the squad, preparing for the first V.League season after many years of absence.
Another important decision agreed upon at the meeting was the renaming of the team. From the 2025–2026 season, the club will officially be called Ninh Binh FC, clearly reflecting the local identity and the desire to affirm its position on the Vietnamese football map.
The team will gather in early July to enter the pre-season preparation phase. With thorough investment from LPBank and ThaiGroup Corporation, along with sustainable development orientation from Ninh Binh province leaders, Ninh Binh FC is gradually building the foundation for a professional club - a convergence of modern football and the pride of the people of the ancient capital.
