How much will tuition fees for technical and technological schools increase in 2025?

TPO - Next school year, universities training in Engineering and Information Technology across the country plan to apply higher tuition fees compared to the previous school year.

Next school year, Hanoi University of Science and Technology expects tuition fees for most of its majors to increase. Specifically, tuition fees for the standard program will be around 28-35 million VND/year. Compared to last year, tuition fees have increased by 4-5 million VND depending on the major.

Elitech programs have tuition fees ranging from 35 to 45 million VND/year, an increase of about 2 to 3 million VND compared to last year. In particular, the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (IT-E10) and Logistics and Supply Chain Management programs maintain tuition fees of 64 to 67 million VND/academic year.

For international professional English dual degree programs, the tuition fee will be 51 million VND/year, including registration fee. Thus, compared to last year, the revenue increased by about 6 million VND.

International cooperation programs and international training links also increased with tuition fees of 26-30 million VND/semester. The school said that this tuition fee can be adjusted for the following school years, but the average increase for all training programs will not exceed 10% per year.

The Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology estimates tuition fees for new students of the next course to be 29.6-62.5 million VND/year (an increase of 2.6-10.2 million compared to present).

Specifically, the average tuition for the general program is from 29.6 to 37.6 million VND (an increase of 2.6 to 3.6 million). Tuition for the high-quality program is from 49.2 to 55 million VND, and for international joint programs is 54 to 62.5 million VND. Compared to last year, the highest increase is 10.2 million VND.

For the bachelor's program in Information Technology (application orientation), Game Design and Development, Vietnam - Japan Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, tuition fees are at 40-45.5 million VND (an increase of 5-8.5 million VND).

Hanoi University of Science and Technology announced that the expected tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year ranges from 56 to 140.5 million VND/school year (an increase of 3 million VND compared to last year depending on the major).

Among them, the major with the highest tuition fee is Aeronautical Engineering (maintenance engineering and B1/B2 orientation). In addition, the school will collect an additional admission service fee of 500,000 VND/candidate.

Next school year, the University of Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi will apply a tuition fee of 34 - 40 million VND/school year (an increase of about 2 million VND/school year depending on the major).

In particular, the majors such as: Artificial Intelligence, Industrial Design and Graphics, Materials Technology and Microelectronics, Data Science and Engineering, Biotechnology have the lowest tuition fee of 34 million VND/school year. The remaining majors have tuition fees of 40 million VND/school year. In addition, the school also noted that tuition fees can be adjusted for the following school years, but not increase by more than 15% per year.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering plans to apply tuition fees from 18.5 to 150 million VND/school year. Specifically, for standard programs (Engineer, Architect, Bachelor), the tuition fee is the lowest at 18.5 million VND/school year. For high-quality, international training programs, the tuition fee ranges from 37 to 150 million VND/school year.

According to the admission information of the University of Transport , the tuition fee the school applies to standard programs: majors in group III (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance - Banking) is 398,060 VND/1 credit.

Majors in block V (Logictics and Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Architecture, Control and Automation Engineering, Construction Engineering, Transport Construction Engineering,...) are 466,438 VND/1 credit.

Majors in block VII (Transportation Exploitation, Tourism Service Management) are 425,524 VND/1 credit. Advanced, high-quality programs: Majors in block III are 694,935 VND/1 credit, majors in block V are 766,810 VND/1 credit.

FPT University, 2025-2026 school year, applies tuition fee for Information Technology students of 31.6 million VND/semester for the first 3 semesters. In the next 3 semesters, the tuition fee will be 33.6 million VND and the last 3 semesters will be 35.8 million VND/semester.

In addition, for the remaining majors, the school applies tuition fees ranging from 22.12 - 31.6 million VND/semester (for the first 3 semesters).

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Vietnam National University) announced that the average tuition fee (standard program) for the 2025-2026 school year is 30 million VND/school year (an increase of 1 million compared to last year). The advanced program, taught and learned in English, is 80 million VND/school year and the Japanese-oriented program is 60 million VND/school year.

In the standard program, the school trains in the majors of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electricity - Electronics - Telecommunications - Automation - Microchip Design,...

The roadmap for tuition fee increase is implemented according to the Government Decree, each following year, tuition fees are expected to increase by about 10%. For some training programs that have met quality accreditation standards, the expected tuition fee increase compared to standard training programs, the increase is not more than 20%.
