Bloody shooting in New York (USA), many casualties

On February 12 (morning of February 13, Hanoi time), New York City, USA was shocked by two bloody shootings. In the shooting at Mount Eden Avenue subway station in the Bronx district, at least one woman died after being taken to St Barnabas Hospital, while 5 others were injured.

According to witnesses at the scene, a suspect fired more than 10 rounds into the crowd waiting for the subway at Mount Eden Avenue station before fleeing.

New York City police cordoned off the scene and asked people to stay away from the area where the shooting occurred. Subway services were disrupted at the Mount Eden Avenue station. It is known that this is one of the most serious shootings in the city in recent years.

Meanwhile, another shooting occurred in the New York borough of Queens on the same day. New York Police Commissioner Jeffrey Maddrey said police shot and killed a man after he pointed what appeared to be a gun at officers. The incident occurred in an apartment on the fourth floor of the Ocean Bay apartment complex on Beach 51.

The shootings have caused panic and concern in the New York City community. Police are investigating to determine the identity and movements of the perpetrators. The city is increasing security measures and asking people to limit their movements in the area where the incident occurred.
