On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), musician Nguyen Ba Hung introduces 3 new songs.

3 compositions include: The heroic song of the Vietnam Coast Guard (singed by Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung), The song of the submarine soldier (Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi), Proud of the air force soldier (singer Dao Mac).

"I am happy to write about the armed forces in general and the army and police in particular. Every time I think about the silent work of the soldiers, I close my eyes and immerse myself in that life to be able to feel and create these songs. Through my compositions, I hope the audience will understand more about the hardships and silent sacrifices of the soldiers, protecting the sea and sky of Vietnam," musician Nguyen Ba Hung expressed.

The musician said he personally loves and admires the voices of Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, and singer Dao Mac. Besides technique, it is the emotions they convey that help the work spread to listeners.

"All three are highly skilled artists with youthful energy and a sense of responsibility for their profession. I feel lucky and honored to be able to collaborate with them," the musician said.

The singers shared the same feelings of pride and emotion when performing this special song, especially during the time when the whole country has many activities to celebrate the founding day of the People's Army on December 22.

The work "The Epic Song of the Vietnam Coast Guard" was written after a conversation between him and Colonel Pham Van Tu in Hanoi. The song "The Submarine Soldier " was written because in his family there was a person who was a submarine sailor. Or the work "Proud of the Air Force Soldier" is a spiritual gift of encouragement to the soldiers who work day and night in the sky.
