As one of the individuals awarded the "Dedicated and Creative Hanoi Teacher" award for the 8th time in 2024 by the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training (DET), Ms. Phan Thi Thuy An, Vice Principal of Trung Son Tram Primary School (Son Tay Town) has more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Before being appointed as a manager in 2022, she had been attached to and taught at Le Loi Primary School for 17 years.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy An believes that the title awarded belongs to the school community and the support of the students' parents.
Coming to Trung Son Tram Primary School, everyone is impressed by the team of teachers who are solid in expertise, dedicated, creative and friendly, especially Ms. Phan Thi Thuy An, Vice Principal of the school. Regardless of her position, the female teacher always strives, constantly innovates and is creative to excellently complete all tasks.
For Ms. Thuy An, dedication to her profession is not only about being dedicated to her profession but also about love and compassion for her students. During her years of teaching, in her homeroom classes, there were students from difficult circumstances, many of whom lacked family affection, so they became irritable and closed off from their teachers and friends.
With students in such circumstances, in addition to caring for them during the teaching process, she always reminds herself to be their second mother, being close, talking, and asking questions every day to create motivation and spiritual support for the students.

As a manager, she always worries and thinks a lot with the desire to change to create a highlight for the school, constantly actively improving professional quality, especially the quality of the teaching staff.
She always directly accompanies teachers in competitions for excellent teachers at all levels, improving the quality of learning for students; actively participates in community activities, repays gratitude and does a good job of communication for the school.
Innovation to improve teaching quality
During the class observation, realizing that the teacher's lessons were still boring, not attracting the students' attention, and that the students had not yet deeply memorized the knowledge after each lesson, Ms. Thuy An was very concerned about how to improve the quality of the lessons, helping students grasp the knowledge firmly.
Seeing students grow is a valuable source of encouragement for any teacher.
With her own experience accumulated during her years on the podium, Ms. Thuy An has spread and introduced the form of putting "Ve" into the lesson consolidation activities with the aim of helping students to be interested, easily remember, and easily memorize the key knowledge after each lesson.
Each line of the verse usually has 4 syllables with easy-to-remember rhymes, but importantly, it covers the knowledge content of the lesson. Some highly effective verses in teaching include: Positive Verse, Ancient Village Verse, Mia Pagoda Verse, Tidy Verse, Traffic Verse, Promise Verse, Discovery Verse , Thank You Verse, Sorry Verse... which make students very excited.
"When composing verses, we should make them short, rhyming, and easy to remember. The words and meanings of the verses need to be very clear, simple, and easy to remember. Depending on the content and topic of each lesson and subject, we should choose how to compose verses to achieve the best results," Ms. Thuy An added.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy An (second from left) also achieved many achievements in emulation movements at the town level and was commended by the leaders.
She has spread this method to many colleagues, encouraged students to compose their own poems, and together built a handbook of teaching aids, which are poems for all grades, so that they can be effectively applied in teaching. Ms. Thuy An has devoted her love for the profession, her dedication and creativity during her years of teaching to her beloved students.
According to Ms. Phan Thi Thu Huong, Head of the Department of Education and Training of Son Tay Town, Ms. Thuy An is a cadre with good professional capacity, a harmonious lifestyle and is very dedicated to her work. Not only that, she has many innovations and creativity in management and teaching. All of these contributions have been and are promoting positive effects recognized by leaders at all levels; and trusted by colleagues, parents and students.
Ms. Phan Thi Thuy An won the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level in the 2023-2024 school year; participated in the City-level Excellent Teacher Competition for three years; received the certificate of merit for "Party member who completed his tasks excellently" for five years; Certificate of merit for completing his tasks excellently from the 2020-2021 school year to the 2021-2022 school year; Certificate of merit for "Having achievements in the movement "Good worker - Creative worker of Son Tay town in 2022"; Certificate of merit for "Having achievements in the emulation movement "Good at state affairs - Good at housework" of Son Tay town in 2023".
