The livestream was attended by experienced experts such as Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Lien - Director of Tax & Business Consulting Department at Nexia STT and Mr. Do Ke Cong - Deputy Director of VNPT Enterprise Digital Service Center. The discussion revolved around new regulations in Decree 70/2025/ND-CP - a document recently issued by the Government on March 20, 2025, amending and supplementing Decree 123/2020/ND-CP on invoices and documents.
Experts answer questions about taxes and electronic invoices at the livestream
The program does not stop at providing legal information. Here, VNPT officially introduced a special digital transformation support package exclusively for business households, in which the highlight is the policy: completely free electronic invoice software generated from cash registers, remote digital signatures, accounting software and sales management software. This support package not only helps business households comply with new regulations easily but also opens up opportunities to modernize management processes at almost zero cost.
According to Mr. Do Ke Cong, VNPT's solutions are flexibly designed, suitable for all business models, including small businesses. Users do not need to invest in expensive cash register equipment, but can use sales software integrated with electronic invoices right on smartphones or compact POS machines, while invoice data is instantly synchronized with the tax authority's management system.
Ms. Hoang Thi Hong Lien also emphasized the role of e-invoices in increasing transparency and supporting effective cash flow management. She shared: “Many businesses were previously reluctant to change because they thought digital transformation was very expensive, or lacked technological skills. But with simple and strongly supported solutions like today, accessing e-invoices and declaring revenue are no longer barriers.”
VNPT said that in this support package until the end of 2025, businesses will not only receive free invoice software, but also free use of VNPT HKD accounting software and VNPT SmartCA digital signature for the first 6 months, and Posio sales management software for 3 months. Each business will also receive up to 1,000 electronic invoices to create from the cash register. In particular, VNPT is committed to providing on-site consultation, installation and instructions, even in rural and remote areas.
Enterprises with revenue of 1 billion VND/year must use electronic invoices generated from cash registers and connected directly to tax authorities.
Experts also warn that, according to Article 25 of Decree 125/2020/ND-CP, business households that do not comply with the conversion as notified by the tax authority may be fined from 10 to 20 million VND. Therefore, timely conversion not only helps legalize business activities but also avoids unfortunate risks.
As a pioneer in the field of national digital transformation, VNPT is demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting businesses to overcome the transformation phase with the lowest cost and highest efficiency. This is not simply providing software, but a comprehensive companion - from policy, technology to people - so that businesses can confidently enter the digital business era.
