Eighth-grade female student was beaten by a group of classmates while they 'cheered' her on.

Recently, a video over a minute long surfaced on social media showing a female student being beaten by a group of classmates at school. Many other students witnessed the incident but no one intervened; some even seemed to be cheering them on.

In the video, a female student is repeatedly grabbed by the hair, pulled back and forth, dragged across the ground, and kicked and hit repeatedly on the body and head by other female students. The student is unable to resist and can only cover her head and endure the attack.

Remarkably, a large number of students witnessed the incident but no one intervened; some even stood and applauded. The incident reportedly occurred at Lim Secondary School in Tien Du commune, Bac Ninh province.

According to a report from Lim Secondary School to the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training, the incident occurred at approximately 9:45 AM on December 12th, on the landing of the first-floor staircase in the school's classroom building. The victim of the assault is NTA, an 8th-grade student at the school.

The initial investigation determined that NTA and a group of 9th-grade students, including NTNK, NHHT, NTXM, NTTH, and NNTD, had a conflict that escalated into a physical altercation. Instead of intervening, the group of friends "cheered" them on and filmed the incident, then disseminated the video online.

Immediately after the incident, in addition to requiring the students involved to write reports, the school's administration and the class teacher informed the parents of the students involved and took student A to the hospital for examination. All three examinations at different hospitals showed no abnormalities. Currently, the family continues to keep student A in the hospital for further monitoring…

Lim Secondary School is also coordinating with the Tien Du Commune Police to resolve the incident and will take strict action against the students involved. At the same time, the school will strengthen moral education , lifestyle guidance, cultural etiquette, and life skills training for its students.
