As of October 1, the flood on Nho Que River ( Tuyen Quang ) is at a high level. The water flow into Nho Que 1 Hydropower Plant reservoir continues to increase sharply, exceeding the threshold of 1,570m³/s. At 10:15 a.m. on October 1, the monitoring system recorded a water flow of 1,578m³/s.

Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Nguyen Phu Xuyen - Deputy Director of Nho Que 1 Hydropower Joint Stock Company - said that since 1:00 p.m. yesterday, September 30, all tourism activities on Nho Que River have been temporarily suspended to ensure the safety of visitors.

According to Mr. Xuyen, due to the circulation of storm No. 10 causing heavy rain, landslides caused traffic jams on the road to Nho Que 1 hydropower plant (about 2,000m3 blocking the road).

In addition, in the dry stream area, due to clogged drains, mud and soil overflowed onto the road. Currently, landslides and traffic jams are being handled to ensure smooth traffic flow.

"Currently, the flood on the river is very large, so we have temporarily suspended tourism activities on Nho Que River. This information has been communicated to travel agencies so that they can proactively arrange plans for tourists. We hope that tourists will understand," Mr. Xuyen shared.

In Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards (old Ha Giang city), flood water is at a high level, making it impossible for people and tourists to move.

Hotels and homestays in isolated areas are trying to ensure the best for tourists staying. Some homestays in the area have announced free support for residents and tourists having difficulty moving.

Nho Que River is a must-see destination for tourists when coming to Tuyen Quang. This place is famous for its emerald green water and Tu San Canyon - the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia.
