Flood water begins to flow into localities in the Dong Thap Muoi region of the province.

From the beginning of July 2025 until now, flood water has begun to flow into localities such as Tan Hung and Vinh Hung communes, Tay Ninh province, with an average water level increase of 1-2cm per day/night.

On the morning of July 11, the water level measured at Hong Ngu canal, Tan Hung commune was 98cm, 2cm higher than the previous day, 26cm higher than the same period in 2024.

Currently, the 2025 Summer-Autumn rice crop in the Dong Thap Muoi region is being harvested. In low-lying areas that are likely to be affected by floods, farmers need to proactively reinforce their embankments to avoid damage.

In addition, with the complicated weather situation, floods and storms still lasting, people need to regularly monitor the flood situation, have a response plan ready, and minimize the damage caused./.
