“Unleashing the green future” with the Vietnam Association of Youth with Disabilities

Within the framework of the exhibition “80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness” at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) from August 28 to September 5, the exhibition booth of the Vietnam Association of Youth with Disabilities with the theme “Unleashing a Green Future” attracted the attention of many people and tourists with many rich and meaningful activities.

The exhibition booth is a tribute, arousing the pride and heroic historical tradition of the nation over the past 80 years, while honoring the will and capacity of the disabled community and affirming their positive contributions to the overall development of the country.

Through the exhibition booth with the theme “Unleashing the Green Future”, the Vietnam Association of Youth with Disabilities also hopes to convey the message of promoting self-confidence, integrating, connecting the community and spreading the spirit of compassion in society. Here, images are displayed showing the journey of overcoming fate of 25 typical disabled youth, honored in the program “Shining Vietnamese Willpower” in 2025.

The special highlight of the Association's booth is the areas that create emotional circuits of pride, inspiring visitors on the topics: culture, history, technology, and the lives of people with disabilities in the "80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness".

In the outdoor area, there are booths displaying handicrafts, fine arts, paintings, etc. created by disabled artisans. Along with that is the area for selling handicrafts of disabled artisans, organized in combination with the Mega-livestream model with disabled KOLs/KOCs on the Tiktok and Facebook platforms. Visitors can watch live to better understand the livelihoods of people with disabilities in the digital economy . Experiential workshops such as: Making paintings from scraps of fabric, making aquatic paintings, painting national flag hats take place throughout the exhibition, aiming to spread the positive life values ​​of people with disabilities to the community, while recreating their daily experiences so that people attending can sympathize, understand and accompany more deeply.

Notably, in order to participate in preserving and promoting the Vietnamese national identity, the Vietnam Association of Disabled Youth and the Hoa Van Dai Viet platform also coordinate to organize activities to open up career opportunities for disabled youth with a model of using Vector technology to restore and digitize typical ancient patterns and motifs of Vietnam on a digital platform. The program will train disabled people who already have skills in 2D and 3D graphics to use the Vector tool to learn how to redraw traditional patterns of the nation. After the learning and creative process, the works will be posted and sold directly on the Hoa Van Dai Viet platform to provide businesses in the following fields: Vietnamese fashion design - Gift design - Brand identity - Publication and packaging design - Interior and exterior architectural design.

Along with that is a series of activities of the program "Digital Education for the People". Technology experts deploy instructions on how to use AI Copilot's Prompt templates and provide 10,000 free AI courses for the entire disabled community on the platform: http://luyenai.vn.

At the event, the Vietnam Association of Youth with Disabilities also launched the Para E-Sports tournament, creating a new sports playground in the digital age for youth with disabilities.

Mr. Pham Van Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Disabled Youth Association, shared: “The Green Future Exhibition is a special mark for more than 7 million disabled people on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day. With this booth, we hope to convey the message of determination, aspiration and dedication of disabled people – people who always aspire to integrate, be creative and affirm their own values.

Through cultural exchange activities, craft creation, e-sports and multi-sensory exhibition hall experiences, visitors will deeply feel the spirit of overcoming difficulties, and clearly see the practical contributions of the disabled community to the overall development of society.

This is also an opportunity for us to connect with organizations, businesses, volunteers and the entire community in the journey to create a compassionate, inclusive and prosperous Vietnam. Unlocking a Green Future is not just an exhibition, but an affirmation of a better future – where no one is left behind.”./.
