This is a special art event within the framework of VinFuture Science and Technology Week 2025, marking the 5th anniversary of the VinFuture Award, as well as 5 seasons of the "Shining" exhibition of VCCA.
The exhibition brings together 9 representative artists of Vietnamese contemporary art, with diverse practices, together to re-question the position of humans in the vast ecosystem of knowledge and life, through invested and large-scale works.
Dr. Le Thai Ha, Executive Director of VinFuture Foundation, emphasized: “The exhibition Toa V - Touchpoint of Science is an affirmation that science is not only knowledge, but also inspiration. When art meets science, the most complex ideas of humanity become closer, touching the heart and awakening the imagination of each of us. We hope that the exhibition will open a space where the public not only observes, but also feels, dialogues and reflects on the deep connection between knowledge, creativity and the future of humanity.”

Different from the usual linear exhibition model, the space of “Toa V - Scientific Touchpoint” is organized as an “open mind map”. Viewers are encouraged to create their own itinerary to enjoy and contemplate through 5 “stations” - corresponding to 5 important scientific thinking areas:
Station 1: Germ of Life, Agricultural Science, are works performed by artist Le Thiet Cuong. Coming to station 2: Life, Medicine for Humanity, the lens of artists Le Giang and Le Dang Ninh, will take the audience deep into the biological world, where the fragility but resilience of the human body is reflected from birth, healing, to efforts to protect life.
Station 3: Structure, Materials of the Future, is where artist Bui Quoc Khanh and artist Do Ha Hoai redefine matter. Next is station 4: Domain of Consciousness, Land of Intelligence, where artist Do Hiep and artist Pham Minh Hieu use light and data as symbols of intelligence.
The journey concludes with station 5: Source of Life, Environmental Science - The convergence point of the journey, with artist Vu Binh Minh and artist Trinh Minh Tien.

Throughout the exhibition is a fundamental question: What keeps the world moving? Life, matter or the endless human imagination? Instead of providing a rigid definition, the exhibition is an effort to connect the public with science, through artistic touches and rich multi-sensory experiences. Here, science is no longer strange, but becomes close, full of emotions, inviting viewers to reflect on where we will go in the light of knowledge.
Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Ms. Nguyen Tra My, Director of Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA) shared: “I hope the exhibition is the beginning of deeper dialogues between fields, between knowledge systems and between humans and the world we are creating, while also suggesting new directions for Art-Sci practice in Vietnam. In the context of constantly changing globalization, when artificial intelligence and technology are increasingly developing, art - more than ever - plays a role in preserving humanity and the depth of human emotions”.
The exhibition is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily, from December 2, 2025 to February 28, 2026, at Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (Vincom Mega Mall Royal City, 72A Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan Ward, Hanoi).
