
The water has drained completely, the mud has been completely cleared, and traffic on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway has reopened.
According to the report of Road Management Area IV (Vietnam Road Administration), by 4 pm this afternoon (October 30), the water had completely drained, the mud had been completely cleared, and traffic on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway had been reopened. Vehicles were moving normally on both lanes, ensuring safety.
However, according to the road management force, it is still raining in Binh Thuan area (now Lam Dong province), some positive slope locations still have water seeping and flowing lightly onto the road surface.
Faced with this development, Road Management Area IV continues to maintain a 24/7 force on duty at the scene, ready to handle any unusual situations that may arise.

Previously, at 9:45 this morning (October 30), after a period of prolonged heavy rain, water overflowed onto the positive slope, dragging rocks and soil down the longitudinal ditch, overflowing across the Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet highway from Km215+200-Km215+700 (right route).
In addition, heavy rain caused flooding in the entire area and from Km233+250-Km233+500 of Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet highway, with a flooding depth of 0.6-0.7m in both directions.
To ensure traffic safety for vehicles, Road Management Area IV has coordinated with the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, the regular maintenance unit to arrange a system of signs and cones, carry out traffic assurance work, organize road closures at Ma Lam intersection (Km208+701) and Phan Thiet intersection (Km234+617), and regulate vehicles moving towards National Highway 28 and National Highway 1.
