Niem Son commune is 346 km from the center of Tuyen Quang province, bordering Cao Bang province. With a total area of ​​8,173.23 hectares, the commune has 20 villages, 2,019 households, the rate of poor and near-poor households is 51.71%. The locality has 11 ethnic groups, 1 village has no telephone signal, 3 villages have no concrete road to the center; there are 190 households, 1,014 people following the Presbyterian Protestant religion.

The Party Committee of Niem Son commune was formed on the basis of merging the two Party Committees of Niem Son and Niem Tong, including 32 subordinate Party cells and 485 Party members. The Party Committee has proactively completed the organizational structure, built working regulations, and assigned specific tasks to Party Committee members, cadres, and civil servants to carry out the tasks. The work of preparing and arranging facilities to serve the activities has been directed with attention.

The whole commune currently has 60 cadres, civil servants and 16 non-professional cadres. The preparation work for the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term is being urgently deployed, sub-committees have been established, reports have been prepared to serve the congress...

At the meeting, leaders and officials of Niem Son commune shared about the difficulties in implementing tasks such as: Not yet arranged the positions of Chief of Office of the Party Committee, Chief of Office of the People's Council, People's Committee, Head of the Department of Culture - Society ; lack of facilities, offices, degraded living space; 2 working offices are 10 km apart; telecommunications infrastructure is not synchronized...

Niem Son commune proposed that the province soon issue regulations on decentralization of management of organizational apparatus and staff; provide policies and assign specific staffing levels to Party committees, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees and socio-political organizations; have a mechanism to support travel expenses for commune-level cadres and civil servants working far from their place of residence; and build additional offices and accommodation.

After listening to the post-merger operations and the difficulties of the locality, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Ma The Hong acknowledged and praised the responsible working spirit of the collective of Niem Son commune. He suggested that in the coming time, the commune would focus on stabilizing the apparatus and taking care of people's lives as the top priority after the merger. At the same time, review the land fund to gradually invest, upgrade facilities, and rearrange centralized working headquarters; promote the application of information technology; prioritize taking care of people's lives, especially in particularly difficult villages; allocate resources to support economic development and sustainable poverty reduction.

For the specific characteristics of religious people, Party committees and authorities should strengthen mass mobilization work, grasp the situation, promptly propagate and mobilize people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies and laws of the State, and promote the role of prestigious people in the community.
