Yen Chau Shoe Joint Stock Company has invested in building a factory to produce and process all kinds of shoes and sandals, with a scale of 23,960 m², specializing in shoe production stages, including: Preparing raw materials, cutting raw materials, shaping raw materials, sewing the upper part of shoes and shoe caps; designed capacity of about 950,000 products/year. The project is implemented in 2 phases, including: Phase 1 (2025-2026) includes the items of the operator's house, guest house; kitchen, dining room; warehouse; production workshop No. 1; yard, gate, fence, internal traffic roads and other auxiliary works; Phase 2 (2028-2030), including production workshop No. 2 and production workshop No. 3.

At workshop No. 1, the production atmosphere is bustling. Ms. Mua Thi Chia, Bo Keo village, Chieng Hac commune, said: I have been working here for 2 months and am being trained and guided by the Company from sewing to gluing shoes. The work is not too hard, and it is close to home so I can go back and forth in a day, so I will try my best to ensure a source of income to take care of my family.

The company currently has 470 workers working at the factory. Before starting work, workers are thoroughly trained, performing all stages from processing to operating modern machinery and equipment systems. Workers are guaranteed benefits in terms of regimes, policies, overtime, social insurance, health insurance and strictly implementing regulations on occupational safety and hygiene.

Ms. Lo Thi Kim Khanh, Head of Sewing Team 3, shared: The team currently has 26 workers. We work 8 hours/day, in addition, depending on the production progress, we will work overtime from 1-3 hours/day and can arrange to work extra on Sundays. The average salary is from 5 to 7 million VND/month. The job is suitable for health and ability, the company pays insurance and enjoys full employee benefits, so workers can work and produce with peace of mind.

In addition, the Company is interested in investing in advanced machinery and equipment systems, putting them into operation, such as electronic sewing machines; automatic material cutting machines; automatic drawing machines; computer-controlled sewing machines; computer-controlled pattern cutting machines. On average, the Company produces 25,000 pairs of shoes per month.

Mr. Pham Quang Thang, Director of Yen Chau Shoe Joint Stock Company, said: Currently, the Company continues to recruit and train workers, aiming to recruit 500 more workers by the end of the year, with priority given to people with permanent residence in the communes: Yen Chau, Chieng Hac, Yen Son, Phieng Khoai, Long Phieng. At the same time, continue to invest in the construction of the project phase 2, complete 2 factory items and install machinery and equipment to ensure the processing of a complete pair of shoes. It is expected that on September 10, the Company will coordinate with Yen Chau commune to organize the inauguration of the shoe factory.
