Mr. Le Van Hoan - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Development Bank

On March 23, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai signed the Prime Minister's decisions appointing the Board of Directors of two banks: Vietnam Development Bank and Vietnam Bank for Social Policies. Specifically, in Decision No. 289/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister assigned and appointed Mr. Le Van Hoan, Chairman of Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company (Vietlott) to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Development Bank for the 2021-2026 term. In addition, the Prime Minister also appointed Mr. Ngo Van Cuong, Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union , to hold the position of Member of the Board of Directors of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies. Previously, Mr. Le Van Hoan was appointed Chairman of Vietnam Computerized Lottery Company since August 2012. Mr. Hoan has a PhD in economics, has worked in the financial sector since 1995 and held various management positions at research, training and management agencies under the Ministry of Finance such as the Institute of Financial Research, the Academy of Finance, and the Office of the Ministry of Finance. In 2022, Vietlott achieved a revenue of more than VND 6,272 billion, an increase of 22% compared to 2021. This enterprise contributed VND 1,720 billion to the local budget, an increase of more than VND 400 billion compared to 2021.
