The democratic consultative congress elected the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XI, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 120 members. The first conference of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, term XI, consulted and elected the Standing Committee of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, consisting of 10 members. Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, was elected by the Congress to hold the position of Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 11th term, 2025 - 2030 term. Ms. Nguyen Thi Ai Van, Standing Member of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 10th term, was elected to hold the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee for the 11th term, 2025 - 2030 term. The Congress also elected delegates to attend the National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term, including 12 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee, highly appreciated the achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City in the past term, contributing to building great solidarity and unifying the will of all classes of people, religions and ethnic groups in the city.
The Secretary of the Hue City Party Committee suggested that, in the new term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city should continue to strengthen the great national unity bloc; focus on mobilizing and gathering all classes of people and the entire political system to promote the spirit and aspiration to rise up, be more determined, take more drastic actions, and successfully implement the goal of developing the city in the direction of green - smart - rich in identity. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city also needs to closely follow the political tasks of the city and localities; build a system of typical values, rich in cultural identity, and Hue people on the basis of preserving, honoring, and promoting traditional values; effectively implement the Resolution and Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 17th City Party Congress; continue to innovate the content and methods of operation of the Front and socio-political organizations to meet the requirements of the new situation...
During the last term, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hue city has promoted the strength of the great national unity bloc, mobilizing social resources to "take the people's strength to take care of people's lives", with many outstanding results. Typically, the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025", the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the city has allocated 4.66 billion VND from the "For the Poor" Fund to support the construction and repair of houses for 358 poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households, completing the progress and reaching the finish line before the deadline set by the Government .
The Front has successfully implemented the movement of the entire people building a cultural life with more than 1,800 works and tasks; started construction, inaugurated and put into use 240 civil works with a total value of more than 200 billion VND.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels mobilized over 692 billion VND to support the construction of 292 civil works; repair and build 3,174 solidarity houses; support production capital for over 9,000 poor households and those in difficult circumstances; give over 37,000 gifts to poor students; support medical examination and treatment for 65,000 people, help with unexpected difficulties, visit and give Tet gifts to over 400,000 poor people... contributing to reducing the city's poverty rate to 1.15%; promptly called for support and mobilized over 40 billion VND to support many northern provinces and cities to overcome the consequences of storms.
