On January 3, 2025, the Vietnam Blockchain Association (VBA) successfully held the 4th meeting of the Executive Committee for the 2022-2027 term. At the meeting, Mr. Phan Duc Trung, Permanent Vice President was elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association.

Taking on the role of Chairman of the Vietnam Blockchain Association, Mr. Phan Duc Trung pledged to make every effort and contribute to the country's innovation. VBA hopes to coordinate and accompany management agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals to realize Vietnam's common goals.

Mr. Phan Duc Trung also affirmed that VBA focuses on promoting 6 strategic goals including: policy consultation, popularizing blockchain - digital assets - artificial intelligence, developing members, promoting cooperation, building standards and strengthening international cooperation to enhance the position of Vietnam's blockchain technology.

2025 is an important milestone when VBA continues to accompany state management agencies and the blockchain community to implement the goals of the Politburo according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and National Blockchain Strategy No. 1236/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister.

These key decisions not only gradually shape the legal framework but also promote innovation and sustainable development for Vietnam to integrate into the global blockchain technology trend.

Since its establishment in May 2022, VBA has become Vietnam's first legal representative organization in the blockchain field, connecting tens of thousands of domestic and international individuals and organizations.

In 2024, VBA organized and participated in 100 events, including 45 events promoting education, 40 events contributing policy opinions related to the legal framework, draft laws and international events.

VBA's programs receive support and companionship from more than 100 press agencies and television stations with more than 1,500 domestic and international news articles.
