(Dan Tri) - Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee, was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term.

On the morning of November 6, Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to carry out the process of electing the Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Based on the results of implementing the procedures on personnel work according to the regulations and instructions of the Central Committee, based on the proposal of the Standing Committee of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, the Politburo agreed to introduce Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee, to be elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

With 100% of the delegates present, Mr. Tran Huy Tuan was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Mr. Tran Huy Tuan, born in 1974, in Van Yen district, Yen Bai province, is a Tay ethnic.

Professional qualifications: Hydraulic engineer; Bachelor of political economy ; Master of natural resources and environmental economics.

Political Theory: Advanced.

From April 2010 to August 2011, Mr. Tuan was Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Yen Bai province.

From August 2011 to December 2011, Mr. Tuan was Deputy Chief of Office of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee.

From December 2011 to September 15, 2015, Mr. Tuan was elected as Chief of Office of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee.

From September 15, 2015 to September 2019, Mr. Tuan held the position of Secretary of Van Yen District Party Committee.

From October 2019 to September 2020, Mr. Tuan held the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.

In September 2020, Mr. Tuan was elected to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.

On October 2, 2020, Mr. Tuan was elected Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee for the 2016-2021 term.

In June 2021, Mr. Tuan was re-elected as Chairman of Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.

On November 6, 2024, Mr. Tuan was elected to hold the position of Secretary of Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
