On October 7, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee announced that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee had unanimously assigned Mr. Tran Vu Khiem, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Commission, to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Mr. Tran Vu Khiem (52 years old) has a master's degree in Party Building and a bachelor's degree in Literature. Mr. Khiem used to be a journalist and reporter for Quang Binh Radio and Television Station. After that, he held many positions such as: Editorial Secretary of the Party Cell Activity Magazine; Deputy Chief of Office, Chief of Office of the Provincial Party Committee; Secretary of the Tuyen Hoa District Party Committee; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Editor-in-Chief of Quang Binh Newspaper; Director of the Quang Binh Department of Culture and Sports .

On October 5, at the 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, Mr. Tran Vu Khiem was appointed by the Politburo and the Secretariat as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
