Song Oa Bridge and Approach Road Must Be Completed Before 2025 Storm Season

According to the decision, the Provincial People's Committee approved the adjustment of the implementation time of the investment project to build the Song Oa Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge to 2021 - 2025 instead of 2021 - 2024 as previously approved.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the investor, the People's Committee of Bac Tra My district, to direct the contractor to re-establish the detailed construction schedule, mobilize sufficient machinery, equipment, and human resources, and construct the project to ensure labor safety and quality.

At the same time, review and clearly identify the objective and subjective causes leading to the extension of project implementation time accurately, honestly and take responsibility before the Provincial People's Committee and the law.

Handle the responsibilities of relevant organizations and individuals for prolonging the project implementation time and not performing as committed; clarify the responsibilities of contractors who do not complete the project according to the contract to adjust the contract price (if any) and take punitive measures according to regulations.

In addition, the contractor is required to mobilize all machinery, equipment, personnel, and material resources, organize overtime work, direct the Project Management Board and supervision consultants to strictly control materials, machinery, equipment, and personnel every day in accordance with the construction progress chart, and urgently complete the project before the 2025 storm season to serve the people's travel conveniently and safely.
