Thang Binh women give gifts to people and students in A Nong border commune

(QNO) - Implementing the program "Accompanying women in the border areas", on May 8 and 9, the Women's Union of Thang Binh district visited and presented many gifts to the sister commune of A Nong, Tay Giang district.

Traveling nearly 200 kilometers, the delegation of the Women's Union of Thang Binh district presented 150 gifts (clothes, blankets, candy, fish sauce, dried fish...) and 10 bicycles to women and children in difficult circumstances in A Nong commune. The total value of the support was over 130 million VND.

The Women's Union of Thang Binh district also donated 200 lunches to women and children with ingredients prepared in Thang Binh.

Mr. Poloong Nhien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of A Nong commune said that over the years, the Women's Union of Thang Binh district has always helped and accompanied local women and children. From supporting crops, seeds, gifts... it has partly helped people reduce difficulties, added motivation to escape poverty, and contributed to building a solid border.
