The Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee agreed in principle to assign the Party Delegation of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council to direct the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to implement a number of contents. Firstly, assign Mr. Tran Xuan Vinh, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council, to perform the duties and powers of the Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council until the position of Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term is completed, according to the law.

Previously, on the morning of April 8, the People's Council of Quang Nam province, term X, 2021-2026, held an extraordinary meeting to carry out the personnel work process according to its authority, and dismissed Mr. Phan Viet Cuong from the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province for the term 2021-2026; dismissed Mr. Le Tri Thanh from the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province; dismissed Mr. Nguyen Hong Quang from the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the province.

Up to now, Quang Nam province still lacks the positions of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
