The four people who were fined include: PCC (born in 1990, in Ho Chi Minh City, driving Porsche 51K-911.XX); NNS (born in 1992, in Ho Chi Minh City, driving Porsche 51L-288.XX); NVL (born in 1996, from Dong Nai, driving Porsche 51K-939.XX); LHT (born in 1990, in Ho Chi Minh City, driving Porsche 51K-785.XX).

For driving in the wrong lane on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway (going in the opposite lane), each driver was fined 5 million VND and had 2 points deducted from their driver's license.

Previously, a clip appeared on social media recording a scene of a convoy of Porsche cars following each other, encroaching on lanes and recklessly overtaking on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway.

According to the images in the clip, the incident happened at around 10:15 a.m. on March 19, on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway (through Van Yen district, Yen Bai province). At that time, 4 Porsches and 1 pickup truck were following each other to encroach on the opposite lane to continuously overtake many cars going in the same direction.

Notably, during the "reckless overtaking", a Porsche almost caused an accident when it encountered another car traveling in the opposite direction.

The highway where the incident occurred is a road with double, solid lines to divide the two directions of traffic. Vehicles traveling here are not allowed to encroach on the lane or cross the lines.
