Launching the Writing Contest "Deep Memories of Teachers and School" in 2024
Up to now, the contest has received increasingly positive responses and has had a clear change in the quantity and quality of works. According to statistics from the organizing committee, each year the contest attracts from 60,000 to 80,000 entries. This further affirms the important position and role of those working in education and proves that teachers and schools are always the inspiration for students and writers.
The contest is an opportunity to spread the good feelings of students, parents towards teachers and schools, contributing to improving education, arousing the pride of each student towards the school, class and teachers. At the same time, it recognizes and honors the examples of teachers who have good jobs, achievements, and positive contributions to the educational innovation and educational institutions with many innovations and creativity in teaching . From there, it encourages and motivates teachers to overcome difficulties and continue to contribute to the education sector and society .
Representing the students participating in the contest, Do Ton Sa, a student of class 12A2 at Viet Duc High School, Hanoi, shared: The contest is very meaningful for generations of students to express their feelings and emotions about their teachers and their beloved school, contributing to helping them perfect themselves and together move towards the comprehensive beauty of "truth - goodness - beauty". This is also an extremely valuable opportunity for students to express their deep gratitude to their teachers - the ferrymen who have devoted all their heart, love and tolerance to guide us on the path of learning and growing up.

According to the rules of the writing contest "Deep memories of teachers and school" in 2024, the entries focus on deep memories of teachers and school. Specifically, deep impressions of teachers that the author loves and admires or the special impacts and influences of teachers on learning, perception, and changes in the author's personal life (or the author's friends and relatives); typical pedagogical situations and how teachers have resolved those situations that the author has encountered or experienced, demonstrating the professional capacity, creativity as well as the teachers' feelings for students and for the profession; memories, impressions, and deep attachment to the school that the author or the author's friends and relatives have attended or are attending.
Participants are Vietnamese citizens whose works comply with the contest rules. Members of the Organizing Committee and the Jury of the contest are not allowed to submit works to the contest.
Entries must be written in Vietnamese, in prose form, each work must be at least 500 words long (accompanying illustrations and videos are accepted, if any), and must be presented in accordance with the contest rules.

Entries must not have been used or published in any media or publications, not posted on websites, blogs, social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter... of organizations or individuals; and not submitted to any other contest.
Entries may not be published in the author's own books or in any other anthologies until the end of the contest. Entrants must guarantee and be responsible for the authenticity and accuracy of the characters and content of their entries. There is no limit to the number of entries per author.

The Organizing Committee will award 2 collective prizes; 2 First prizes; 4 Second prizes; 6 Third prizes; 10 Encouragement prizes; 2 prizes for outstanding characters in the winning works; additional prizes will be considered and decided by the Organizing Committee of the contest, depending on the actual situation of each year of organization.
The closing and award ceremony is expected to be held in December 2024.
