Provincial Farmers' Association announces decisions on organization and personnel work

(DN) - On the afternoon of July 17, the Provincial Farmers' Association held a Conference to announce the decisions to establish and appoint personnel for the Provincial and Commune Farmers' Associations (after the merger) for the 2023-2028 term and a Conference to guide and deploy key tasks of the association and farmers' movement in the last 6 months of 2025.

Attending the conference were Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Ha Anh Dung.

The conference announced the decision to establish the Provincial Farmers' Association Executive Committee consisting of 19 comrades, the Standing Committee consisting of 7 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee is the Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Comrade Nguyen Van Giang is the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association.

The conference also announced the decision to establish 95 grassroots farmers' associations and chairmen of farmers' associations in wards and communes in the province.

Comrade Nguyen Huu Nguyen, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association, said that the Association will focus on implementing key tasks from now until the end of the year, especially the content of developing members, grasping the number of branches, groups and members; grasping the implementation tasks such as managing projects in the province from the Farmers' Support Fund... In addition, Farmers' Associations at all levels focus on propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws...

Speaking at the conference, Standing Committee member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Ha Anh Dung emphasized that after the merger, Dong Nai province has about 1.5 million farmers, the Provincial Farmers' Association has nearly 200,000 members. This places great responsibility on farmers' associations at all levels, especially in remote areas, on how to convey information in the fastest, most effective and least costly way. More than ever, the application of information technology and digital technology needs to be promoted. Farmers' associations at all levels need to continue to propose effective ways and methods so that the Association can truly be a solid support for farmers...
